Friendly Tips for Managing Dog Barking in Our Community

It’s always great to see our pets out and about, bringing a little extra joy and energy to the community. To help everyone maintain a peaceful and comfortable community environment, we’d like to share a few friendly tips on managing dog barking.

Here are some positive ways to help reduce excessive barking:

  • Stay Active: Regular exercise and a consistent routine help keep dogs happy and healthy. Daily walks and playtime are great ways to release energy and reduce boredom, which can help minimize excessive barking.
  • Encouraging Quiet Moments: Using positive reinforcement, such as treats or praise, when your dog stays calm and quiet, can be a rewarding and enjoyable way to nurture good behavior.
  • Soothing Sounds: Playing gentle music or leaving the TV on can create a calming environment for dogs who might feel anxious or lonely when home alone.
  • Minimize Distractions: If your dog gets excited by passersby, closing the blinds/drapes or adding visual barriers can help reduce triggers.
  • Seek Support: If barking persists, working with a professional trainer can be a great way to support you and your dog for a happier, calmer home.

While barking is a natural form of communication for dogs, with a bit of mindful attention and care, we can work together to maintain a peaceful environment for all residents.

Thank you for being thoughtful pet owners and valued members of our community!

Maintaining Curb Appeal This Summer

As we welcome the summer season, we’d like to encourage all residents to take a moment to care for their front yards. Regularly removing weeds, mowing the lawn, and watering as needed go a long way in keeping our community vibrant and beautiful. Together, we can elevate the appeal of our neighborhood. Thank you for your dedication and commitment!

Landscape and Tree Maintenance

As a friendly reminder, we kindly ask all residents to maintain their landscaping in accordance to community standards. This includes regularly mowing lawns, removing weeds, and trimming trees and shrubs to ensure a neat and well-kept appearance.

Proper landscape maintenance not only helps preserve the beauty of our community but also contributes to property values and overall neighborhood pride.

We appreciate your attention to this matter and your continued efforts to keep our community looking its best.

Storage Reminder

To help keep our community looking its best, we’d like to kindly remind everyone not to store personal items in areas that are visible from the common areas. This includes things like:

  • Trash and recycling bins (except on pick-up days)
  • Cardboard boxes or wood crates
  • Old or broken furniture
  • Large appliances
  • Any other miscellaneous items or clutter

Keeping these items out of view helps maintain our neighborhood’s curb appeal and overall atmosphere.

If you have large or unwanted items to get rid of, CR&R offers a Bulky Item Pick-up Service. Just give them a call at 949-625-6735 to schedule a curbside pick-up.

Thanks so much for doing your part to keep our community clean and beautiful!
